hyaSEPT® for the patient
Between 5 and 25% of the population in Germany suffers from painful, inflammatory damage of the mucous membrane of the gums (aphthae). They can be very painful and they strongly affect the lifestyles of the persons affected.
Hyasept is particularly suitable for these patients and offers them a therapy for home care.
hyaSEPT® is applied after brushing the teeth and also applied a few times during the day (as and when required). 5-10 ml of the hyaSEPT® fluid is measured using the measuring cup provided and flushed in the mouth for 1-2 minutes. Then the hyaSEPT® is spat out.
hyaSEPT® is an interesting option for patients with gingival problems, aphthae or bad breath, because many a time other forms of treatment have already been used with no success and hyaSEPT® brings a new ray of hope for these patients
hyaSEPT® in dental practice
For example, in professional dental cleaning the dental hygienist can use hyaSEPT® as an oral rinsing solution.
The dentist may recommend hyaSEPT® even after tooth extractions or implant surgeries, particularly because of its high substantivity and consequently a long-lasting barrier against mechanical irritations and microorganisms. This helps the patient to improve oral hygiene following dental treatment and also helps in wound healing.
hyaSEPT®: high purity and long-lasting protection
The biofermentative process used to manufacture the hyaluronic acid used in hyaSEPT® guarantees a high degree of purity and thus a particularly high tolerability. The adhesion of hyaSEPT® to the oral mucosa leads to optimal lasting protection even with natural salivation.
hyaSEPT® is suitable for use at home as well as for dental prophylaxis.
