The natural reaction of the body to inflammatory processes of the gums is to raise the level of hyaluronic acid. hyaSEPT® supplies the gums with additional hyaluronic acid in order to support these defence processes and in this way aids fast healing of the tissue.
A ready-to-use solution as prophylaxis, regeneration and relief
hyaSEPT® is a ready-to-use solution based on hyaluronic acid to flush the oral cavity.
High proportion of hyaluronic acid
Due to a high proportion of hyaluronic acid the composition of hyaSEPT® is ideal for the regeneration of your gums and oral mucosa.
hyaSEPT® has a fresh and mild taste (slightly minty).
hyaSEPT® for the inflamed or traumatized oral mucosa
The special composition of hyaSEPT® leads to the development of a barrier against mechanical irritation as well as against microorganisms and damaging substances, and in this way counteracts periodontal disease. Both gums and oral mucosa profit from the particularly high concentration of hyaluronic acid.
In addition to this the formation of dental plaque is prevented through the use of hyaSEPT® (anti-plaque effect).
Hyaluronic acid is a substance occurring naturally in the body. The innovative composition of hyaSEPT® supports the recovery of damaged tissue and can be used prophylactically for gums that tend to become easily inflamed.
Hyaluronic acid is able to counteract dry mouth
Due to the excellent characteristics of hyaluronic acid to bind large amounts of moisture, Hyasept (thanks to its high concentration of hyaluronic acid of 0.1%) can be a relief at dry mouth (e.g. after chemo- or radiotherapy and pharmacological side effects of psychotropics), by covering the tissue with a moisture protection film.

Application of hyaSEPT®
After thorough oral hygiene, hyaSEPT® should be applied twice daily. Due to the composition of hyaSEPT® it is also suitable for use over a longer period of time. hyaSEPT® is therefore optimally suitable for prophylaxis.
Its use in an acute situation is continued at least until all symptoms have disappeared, a minimum period of 3-4 weeks is recommended.
Hyasept is applied after brushing the teeth and also applied a few times during the day (as and when required). 5-10 ml of the Hyasept fluid is measured using the measuring cup provided and flushed in the mouth for 1-2 minutes. Then the Hyasept is spat out. Due to the high concentration of hyaluronic acid hyaSEPT® is slightly viscous and therefore covers the tissue with a moisture protection film.
Tolerance to hyaSEPT®
As hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the tissue, products based on hyaluronic acid are very well tolerated by the body and are also biocompatible and biodegradable in the body. The hyaluronic acid used in hyaSEPT® is produced using a biofermentative process. This ensures a high level of purity and a particularly good compatibility. With the given indications no adverse reactions were observed for the application of hyaSEPT®.
